Armato serves as president and chief executive officer of Novant Health, a not-for-profit healthcare system serving communities in Virginia, North Carolina, South Carolina and Georgia.
Armato joined Novant Health in 1998 as vice president of finance and operations for the physician divisions in both Charlotte and Winston-Salem and also served as senior vice president of materials management and logistics for Novant Health.
Additionally, he is a member of the boards of the Nuclear Energy Institute (NEI), Global Sustainable Electricity Partnership (GSEP), The Columbus Partnership, Columbus Downtown Development Corporation, Nuclear Electric Insurance Limited (NEIL), Fifth Third Bancorp, Ohio Health and the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame and Museum.
Keith Allman was elected President and Chief Executive Officer effective February 14, 2014. Allman was a Group President, a position he was promoted to in 2011, and had responsibility for Masco’s Plumbing Products and North American Cabinet businesses. Allman was responsible for a number of companies accounting for approximately half of Masco’s revenues in 2012. Allman led the development and implementation of a platform-wide strategy including the turnaround of the North American Cabinet business. Allman had been President of Delta Faucet Company since April 2007.
Previously, he served as president and chief operating officer for Southwestern Electric Power Company, and held other leadership roles in Energy Marketing Services, Transmission, External Affairs and Industry Restructuring.
A native of Louisiana, Akins received his bachelor’s degree in 1982 in electric engineering from Louisiana Tech University in Ruston and a master’s degree in electrical engineering in 1986 from Louisiana Tech.
Additional training includes executive management programs at Louisiana State University, the University of Idaho and the Reactor Technology Course for Utility Executives at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology. Akins is a former chairman of the Board of Directors of both the Edison Electric Institute (EEI) and the Electric Power Research Institute (EPRI), and currently serves on both boards.
He is a member of the Executive Committee of the Business Roundtable (BRT) and was appointed chair of the BRT’s Energy and Environment Committee.
He sees a huge opportunity in transforming the agriculture sector through Reliance’s retail business, which has a unique value and supply chain model – famously referred to as the ‘farm-to-fork’ model.
His vision of reinventing education, finance, retail, healthcare through innovations deployed over 4G will usher in the digital revolution in the country and beyond.
In 1989 Luis joined Nissan Portugal as a Marketing Director, in 1994 he became a Board Member, responsible for sale, marketing and logistics.
